It is not so easy to write the letters but very difficult to compose the effective writing. It is somewhat more complicacy before the youth. Reason is that they are having are having several means to communicate. Beside that there is need to write the letters at various occasions and you can use the process easier.

1. Always keep in the mind your recipient: To who the letter is being written that is to be kept in mind. Let it be a family member any of your friend, any official, or an employer. It is must that he should be in your imagination and will create a sort of good feeling to recipient of the letter.
   
   
2. While wring the letter it is required to introduce yourself to the recipient of the letter. In case you know him earlier then also it is must to introduce yourself. If you have remained together in any job remind him any incidence of that period.
   
   
3. Be straightforward about your intention: It is always good that while writing a letter we must clear our intention, never beat about the bush but be clear about you purpose. It is a time saver.
   
   
4. Use clear language:  using a very clear language is always beneficial. Your views should be very clear and avoid the creating the suspense. Your language should be errorless in case of any trouble the grammar can be referred.

Show courtesy: showing courtesy is the tradition of letter writing. It is good to show courtesy through the letter. Even if you are passing the orders or complaining against humbleness is the requirement of the language of the letter. It will earn better results.

A letter is the one of the best way to express one’s true feelings and ideas. It is not possible through telephonic talks. The means of science and technology is not sufficient to open the soul of human beings. It is only the letter which is capable to express ideas and emotions clearly and completely. It is cumbersome to express directly on phone. Letters are of many kinds. Such as personal letters, official letters, business letters and many others too. These letters are different from each other but easy too.

Points to be considered: All the personal letters are written in cheerful language including all nears and dears. It should be in such way that all are present in front of you and talking together.

Formal and semi formal letters should be to the point and clearing the ideas what you want to say. The language used should be very polite but forceful while
